A new gathering in Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and Human Rights viewpoints on how open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.
During the event, participants addressed themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
